Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: BSN Required, License to Submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification Must-Have: IV experience, high acuity patient care experience Description: Level 1 trauma experience is required. Candidates must pass a skills evaluation on the first day of orientation. This role involves working with high acuity patients in a telemetry setting. The unit is a 30-bed medical telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The hospital expects every nurse to be competent in maintaining sterile fields during procedures like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. All nurses must be able to read EKGs. Candidates will occasionally float to any medical-surgical or telemetry floor. Weekend and holiday shifts are required as per unit coverage. Common patient diagnoses include gynecological surgeries, pre-liver transplants, end-stage renal disease, cellulitis, pneumonia, diabetes, and diabetic ketoacidosis. The unit has support from IV and respiratory teams available 24/7. Cancellation policies apply during assignments. There is a focus on patient education regarding lifts, restraints, and wound care.
