Job Description Job Description Maintenance Manager Maintenance Manager Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department's operations, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition to support production and manufacturing processes. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of technicians and to implement effective maintenance strategies that enhance productivity and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and schedules for production machinery and equipment. Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with production management to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize impact on production schedules. Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for maintenance operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques, particularly in a production setting. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the manufacturing industry. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
