Job Description Job Description POSITION PURPOSE The Processing
Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for (including but not
limited to) the effective day to day supervision and execution of
preventive, corrective, and emergency mechanical maintenance; and
to ensure goals and KPI’s for HSEC, Production, Maintenance,
Quality and Cost are achieved for the overall Processing area and
for Processing Maintenance. This position also manages all
activities including schedule execution and completion, and cost
control related to Processing Maintenance. In addition, this role
provides strong leadership and mentors team members to operate in a
manner consistent with company values. The position role also
provides timely and accurate reporting for the area as required.
REPORTING TO: Processing Maintenance Superintendent COLLABORATING
WITH (Key departments, External Groups): Internal: Managers,
Superintendents, Sr Supervisors External: Suppliers, Contractors,
Engineering Firms, and Dealers as necessary PEOPLE REPORTING TO
THIS POSITION (Name of Position): Internal: Processing Maintenance
Technicians 1-5 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and ensure all
employees are working in compliance with all Pinto Valley Mine and
MSHA safety guidelines and procedures. Manage and ensure all
employees and contractors are working in compliance with all Pinto
Valley Mine standard operating procedures. Manage and ensure that
all employees and contractors are certified to execute the
tasks/jobs they are assigned. Maintain department compliance with
local, state, federal and company standards. Communicate directives
to direct reports to ensure adherence to applicable rules and
regulations. Ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining
Agreement. Build an appropriate department team through recruitment
and development. Ensure that training is provided in accordance
with the current and future needs of the department. Coach and
mentor department team member growth and development. Ensure
professional learning objectives of the department team members are
defined and met. Conduct performance reviews; provide feedback and
coaching for department team members. Ensure awareness of
departmental budget to support and achieve production cost goals.
Provide input to the Processing Maintenance Superintendent
regarding the development of the overall department budget (as
required). Ensure the effective and timely execution and completion
of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance plans,
schedules and/or response. Participate in the review and execution
of long-term and short-term maintenance equipment plans and
schedules – to optimize production, improve equipment availability
and decrease downtime (as required). Participate in the down day
planning, review, management and control, and post mortem
activities (as required). Ensure awareness and control spare parts
inventory; inventory levels; critical spares; parts purchasing,
etc. (as required). Engage and/or supervise vendor and/or
contractor services (as required). Participate in the development
and review of safe work practices, work orders, bills of material,
etc. (as required). Ensure that the required manpower and equipment
are in place to achieve planned activities, while meeting business
needs around production costs. Allocate resources and define work
plans to ensure activities and requirements are achieved as
planned. Ensure facilities maintenance targets are achieved to
ensure processing throughput matches the mine plan and correct or
address issues as they arise. Set clear expectations and work
objectives which achieve department and production targets. Spend
appropriate time in the field and ensure that critical systems,
processes, procedures, controls, methods, risks, etc. are being
correctly and uniformly applied and properly managed and used by
all teams and personnel. Ensure work order completion; sign-off and
approval required on all work orders. Provide expertise, leadership
and guidance to internal and external departments (as required).
Produce daily, weekly and monthly facilities maintenance reports
that monitor progress vs. business objectives and targets.
Implement maintenance programs and operations to maximize
maintenance efficiency and resources (as required). Implement
maintenance operational programs, processes and policies to meet
organizational governance requirements and standards (as required).
Identify options and implement actions to adopt best practices for
facilities maintenance (as required). Identify potential issues and
collaborate with other department management to prevent, mitigate
or resolve these issues in a real-time environment (as required).
Investigate and identify options and recommend short and long term
projects and approaches to enhance efficiency and cost
effectiveness of facilities maintenance operations (as required).
Implement initiatives to optimize existing business systems,
processes, practices and equipment to improve the overall
performance of the function and department (as required). Use SAP
and Microsoft Office software to enter, update and/or research

REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Required: Minimum 5 years experience in
industrial processing maintenance. Detailed knowledge of
maintenance theories and practices related to fixed plant
equipment. Ability to execute the processing maintenance plan and
deliver on targets. Strong leadership skills and understanding of
team dynamics. Ability to manage contractors and vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred: At least 3 years of
supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of SAP Key Competencies
/ Skills Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time,
including walking up and down stairs and across uneven surfaces.
Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to
work in both hot and cold environments with high humidity. Ability
to stoop, kneel, squat, and work in confined spaces. Able to speak,
comprehend, read, and write English. Ability to perform tasks as
assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT 70% field, 30% office
