and most interesting projects such as Apple's new headquarters,
Virgin Hyperloop One, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) modernization
& expansions, Denver International Airport, Chicago O'Hare

enjoy putting ourselves in our clients' shoes. Why This Role
Matters This is a senior, owner-side BIM / VDC leadership role at
the center of complex, high-visibility projects where design
excellence, constructability, and data integrity must work
together. As the Project BIM / VDC Manager, you will define and
govern how digital models actually drive decisions-from early
coordination through design and construction. You'll sit at the
intersection of design, engineering, creative, and construction
teams, ensuring that BIM and VDC workflows produce measurable
outcomes, not just well-built models. If you enjoy being the person
who brings clarity to complexity, prevents downstream problems, and
elevates how teams collaborate, this role offers both influence and
long-term growth. What You'll Be Accountable For Lead
Project-Specific BIM & VDC Strategy Create and implement
project-driven BIM Execution Plans that teams actually use. Extend
BIM beyond coordination into data management, analytics, and
lifecycle value. Establish modeling standards, LoD definitions, and
governance that hold up under real project pressure. Own
Model-Based Coordination Run efficient, decision-focused
coordination meetings. Identify and resolve clashes and
constructability issues early, before they become schedule or cost
problems. Optimize Navisworks and BIM 360 / ACC environments for
real-time collaboration. Ensure Model Health & Data Integrity Keep
models stable, performant, and reliable throughout the project
lifecycle. Validate data across authoring and coordination
platforms. Configure and maintain collaboration environments that
teams trust. Represent the Owner & Lead Technology Decisions Act as
a trusted advocate for the owner's interests in all BIM, VDC, and
technology decisions. Recommend tools and workflows that are
practical, value-driven, and aligned with project goals. Elevate
BIM/VDC as a strategic enabler, not a back-office function. Support
Cross-Disciplinary Teams Provide hands-on BIM/VDC support to
design, engineering, and construction teams. Solve complex modeling
and visualization challenges quickly. Integrate seamlessly into a
creative, fast-paced studio environment. Drive Continuous
Improvement Capture lessons learned and translate them into better
strategies on future projects. Continuously refine BIM/VDC
practices based on real project outcomes. What Success Looks Like
in the First Year BIM execution strategies are adopted, followed,
and delivering value across projects. Coordination conflicts and
late-stage design changes are measurably reduced. Models remain
usable, performant, and data-reliable from start to finish. Design,
creative, and construction leaders see BIM/VDC as a strategic
advantage. Lessons learned are documented and actively reused on
new projects. You're likely a strong fit it you: Have 6 years
leading BIM / VDC on complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Have
successfully implemented BIM strategies across design,
coordination, construction, and turnover. Are comfortable leading
conversations, challenging assumptions, and speaking up when risks
or opportunities appear. Enjoy balancing technical depth with
stakeholder influence. Core tools: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM
360 / ACC Bonus: Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo,
SolidWorks, Maya, SketchUp, Civil 3D, or model-based estimation.
