– Level 3 or Level 4 your role at Chandler, AZ will be pivotal in
supporting missions critical to national and global security. This
position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Space Systems Algorithms Group, within the Seeker Algorithms team ,
is seeking motivated individuals to support the Glide Phase
Interceptor Program within the Launch Vehicle business unit. In
this role, you will contribute to the development and
implementation of advanced algorithms in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment, collaborating with a diverse team to drive innovation
and deliver mission-critical solutions. This position offers the
opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and tackle a
variety of challenging assignments while fostering collaboration
across all organizational levels. This position will work a 9/80
schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Help
lead a team in developing and implementing algorithms for advanced
seeker, track, and discrimination capabilities. Develop the
algorithmic set for the program. Optimize algorithms for use on
embedded systems. Create a verification and validation approach to
ensure accuracy and reliability. Generate simulation models for
algorithm testing. Support the transfer and transition of
algorithms to flight hardware. Collaborate in a fast-paced work
environment with high expectations and diverse assignments.

position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final
clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of
time as determined by the company. This position can be filled at
either a Level 3 or Level 4. Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR –
Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD
with 1 year of professional experience. Will consider an additional
4 years of experience in lieu of degree. Requires an active U.S.
Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application,
current and within scope Knowledge in designing, implementing, and
testing seeker discrimination and tracking algorithms. Knowledge of
Digital Signal Processing and Kalman Filtering. Basic
Qualifications for Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of
professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of
professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional
experience. Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in
lieu of degree. Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret
security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Knowledge in designing, implementing, and testing seeker
discrimination and tracking algorithms. Knowledge of Digital Signal
Processing and Kalman Filtering. Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Linux and Linux based software development tools.
Knowledge in designing, implementing, and testing seeker
discrimination and tracking algorithms. Experience with Digital
Signal Processing and Kalman Filtering. Experience developing
requirements for seeker discrimination and tracking algorithms.
Ability to integrate complex systems that facilitate continuous
build, continuous integration, continuous test, and continuous
deployment. Working knowledge of hardware/software analysis tools
(debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, emulators, etc).
Experience with space craft or launch systems software development
is highly desired. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills,
and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and
management. Previous experience with digital signal or video
processing. Previous experience with Discrimination Algorithms.

Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 -
$142,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health
