RNs in our MCU support the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality while meeting the changing needs of each patient as he or she transitions from one level of care to another without changing rooms or care teams.Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact RN state licenseOne year of acute care registered nurse experience requiredCritical care competency exam passing grade or successful completion of assigned online AACN Critical Care curriculum within one year. RNs with less than 6 months critical care experience will be assigned the relevant online AACN Critical Care curriculum to complete within one year of hire, unless they can demonstrate previous successful completion of AACN Critical Care curriculumDemonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of hireMust be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certifiedCurrent AHA ACLS requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer serviceBasic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft WindowsPreferred Qualifications:Two years of medical/surgical/telemetry or one year of critical care experience preferredElectronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred*Must pass pre-employment screeningCompany OverviewYavapai Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare provider that offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
