Job Title: Travel OR Tech / Surgical Tech – Day Shift Location: Flagstaff, AZ Shift: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Key Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures including general, trauma, orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery cases Set up sterile fields, instruments, and equipment in accordance with surgical procedures and aseptic technique Ensure all instrumentation is properly sterilized, prepared, and accounted for pre- and post-surgery Collaborate with surgical team and maintain clear communication during operations Support efficient case turnover and maintain OR readiness Participate in required on-call rotations: up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 weekend call shifts (12-hour), with 30-minute callback response Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Tech, including trauma and neuro procedures Experience in Level I Trauma Center required (Level II may be considered based on skillset) Strong knowledge of vascular, ortho/spine, and general surgery Must be able to scrub for complex surgeries including craniotomies and spinal fusions BLS certification required NBSTSA certification preferred but not mandatory No travel experience required; first-time travelers welcome Preferred Experience: Urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, and laparoscopic procedures Endovascular and hybrid vascular surgical exposure Cerner charting system familiarity
