About The Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Electrophysiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Flagstaff, AZ Service Setting: Hospital & In-Office Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Optional On-Call Coverage Period: April 14, 2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Cath Lab) Every Wednesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (In-Office Clinic) Every 2nd Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Telemedicine Clinic) Every 4th Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (In-Office Clinic, first patient at 9:00 AM) On-Call Shift Schedule: Night beeper call on Fridays Call Type: Beeper PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: Clinic: 20-22 patients/day Cath Lab: 3-4 hospital consults/day, 4-6 EP cases/day (depending on case length) Case Mix: Cardiac Electrophysiology, Heart Rhythm Disturbances, Ablations FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 268 EMR System: Cerner Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum support PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 30 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Overtime Rate: 1.5x normal rate (after scheduled shift) Holiday Pay: 1.5x normal rate (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Left-Sided Ablations Cardiac Electrophysiology Heart Rhythm Disturbances Must have completed 100 EP cases in the last 2 years (case logs required, emphasis on ablations) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Arizona License (IMLC Accepted, Willing to License) Board Certification: Electrophysiology BC/BE Certifications: ACLS, DEA (Arizona Registered) Experience: Minimum 1 year in Electrophysiology Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expert care in Cardiac Electrophysiology, particularly in heart rhythm disturbances and ablations Perform hospital consults and EP cases in the Cath Lab Manage in-office and telemedicine clinics as per the outlined schedule Participate in Friday night beeper call coverage Maintain compliance with facility policies and patient care protocols 1615988EXPPLAT About Adelphi Medical Staffing Adelphi Medical Staffing is a national recruitment firm that specializes in sourcing locums, per diems, travel nurses, allied health, and non-clinical professionals for healthcare facilities.
