Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (AZ) CommonSpirit Health • 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (AZ) CommonSpirit Health Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: MCU / Multi Care Unit An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Required Skills/Experience: Will take one year of ICU and one year of PCU/ Med surg if they have worked in larger facilities and have strong skills. RNs required to titrate drips: Sedation, vasopressors, insulin. RNs read strips. RNs must take 12-lead EKG. Required Credentials: Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, then they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. Unit Details: Multi Care Unit Level of care is within on unit for all three acuities (not floating between units) Ratios: Depends on the acuity as this is a combined acuity unit: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6, if no nurse aid for 1:3 primary care. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement every other weekend, Friday and Saturday for Nights. Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly. Call or standby requirement: If low census, staff rotates standby turns. Floating Requirements: Float to our West Campus in Prescott to care for ICU & PCU to maintain competency in caring for all types of ICU/PCU Patients. Would take full med surg team 1:5, Could go to peds to take adult assignment there. Can float to west ICU/ PCU - two hour notice before floating. First to float. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
