license, and 1 year of experience Description: The position is for
a Psych/Behavioral Care Registered Nurse. The unit consists of 12
beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Patients seen on the unit
include Gero Psych and Adult Psych. The current age range of
patients is 18 and over, with a goal to accommodate those 55 and
over due to recent pandemic considerations. Nurses may be asked to
assist with group therapy sessions. Responsibilities include
patient assessments and medication management. Support staff on the
unit includes 2 Patient Care Technicians, depending on patient
census. The charting system used is Allscripts. A Bachelor of
Science in Nursing is not required. The trauma level for this unit
