Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,523 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Show Low, Arizona, 85901! Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of experience - C-section experience - Proficient in fetal monitoring and managing fetal distress - Experience in caring for patients with pre-eclampsia - Clinical background in high-risk patients Description: The position is for a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. This role involves working nights from 6 PM to 6 AM. A minimum of three weekend shifts per four-week schedule is required. Floating to other units, such as Medical Surgical, may be necessary. The nurse will work in a unit with 7 Labor & Delivery beds, 2 triage beds, and 10 postpartum beds. There are typically 1-3 births per day, averaging 830 births per year. Ratios are usually 1:2. Support staff includes Patient Care Technicians and Health Unit Secretaries. Nurse managers may assist with patient care when needed. The team includes an OB scrub tech and a Health Unit Coordinator. The unit has 24/7 availability of a respiratory therapist and pharmacy. Nurses will manage OB emergencies until the provider arrives due to the absence of an in-house OB. Proficiency in assessment skills is crucial for this role. Couplet care may be required depending on census levels.
