This position is for a Pre-Op/Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
The role does not involve any direct clinical responsibilities. The
unit has a total of 7 beds. The patient population typically
includes individuals with urinary retention and those requiring
medication management. Nurses will be responsible for placing
orders and responding to nurse calls and messages. The staffing
ratio includes 2 Medical Assistants and 1 Medical Assistant lead.
The charting system used is Cerner. There are no weekend or holiday
requirements for this position. There is no on-call or standby
requirement. The dress code is navy scrubs. Floating to other units
is not required. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4
shifts during the 13-week assignment. This role focuses on acute
