Start Date: 01-13-2026 End Date: 04-14-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour
shifts); typically scheduled as 3 nights/week (36 guaranteed
hours), schedule published 6 weeks out, includes every-other
weekend and holiday rotation; standby/call-on-shift may be required

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across ICU, MedSurg
Tele and PCU units — every shift matters Monitor and interpret
telemetry and rhythm strips; promptly identify and escalate
dysrhythmias Titrate and manage IV drips (Heparin, Cardizem,
Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin) per unit
protocols Care for post-procedure cardiac and cath lab patients,
including groin site management and CABG post-op recovery Perform
focused assessments, manage respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP/high
flow) and collaborate with RTs Document care accurately in Cerner
and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
Respond to emergencies, participate in standby/call-in processes,
and assist with patient holds from ED when needed Float between
campuses/units as assigned (East and West campus coverage; travel
between campuses ~20-25 minutes) Qualifications Current, active RN
license (able to practice in AZ) Minimum 2 years of RN experience
(posting lists 2 years); at least 1 year ICU experience required
ACLS and BLS certifications required Comfortable and experienced
with telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and monitor strip reading
Demonstrated ability to titrate common drips and manage complex
cardiac/post-op patients Experience with electronic charting —
Cerner experience preferred Willingness to float across ICU,
MedSurg Tele and PCU and to work nights, weekends and holiday
rotations Must pass the dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% within
two attempts prior to contract signing Must meet the radius rule
and CommonSpirit affiliation restriction (no
Full-Time/Part-Time/PRN at CommonSpirit facilities including
CHI/Dignity within the past year and within 50 miles) Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma accepted BSN
preferred but not required Knowledge & Skills Telemetry and
dysrhythmia interpretation IV drip management and titration
protocols Critical care nursing principles and acute patient
assessment Post-op cardiac care and cath lab post-procedure
management Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and heated high-flow support
Electronic charting in Cerner and accurate documentation Ability to
work in a fast-paced float pool across multiple units Strong
communication and teamwork with monitor techs, RTs, and
