Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Arizona Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Northwestern Arizona Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Varied hours with on-call responsibilities; emergency cases may require short-notice response Highlights: Circulate in multiple specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental Serve a culturally rich and diverse community on the Colorado Plateau Work within a JCAHO-accredited regional healthcare facility serving a 4,400 square mile area Approximately 49% of surgical procedures are outpatient/ambulatory Scrubbing experience highly encouraged and supported Valid RN license from any U.S. state accepted – no state-specific license requirement Requirements: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing Minimum two years of clinical nursing and/or operating room experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association NIH Stroke Scale certification required within six months of hire Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required within one year of hire Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification required within two years of hire Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to provide comprehensive perioperative care in a culturally diverse environment serving Native American communities including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes.
