Date: 03-23-2026 End Date: 06-22-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: 4 days per week (10-hour day shifts), 6:30 AM
- 5:00 PM, plus on-call; Day shift Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay

Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing
care using the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate
for surgical patients Serve as the circulating RN across multiple
specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, Ophthalmology,
Dental and General Surgery Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile
operating room environment and practice meticulous scrub/sterile
technique Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
perioperative team members to ensure smooth case flow Respond
professionally and promptly to on-call and emergency cases,
adapting to short-notice situations Document patient care,
interventions and outcomes accurately and in line with facility
policies Participate in quality improvement, patient safety
initiatives and continuing education relevant to perioperative
practice Qualifications Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN
license from any U.S. state, territory or Puerto Rico (AZ license
not required) Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Minimum two
years of clinical nursing and/or operating room practical
experience Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart
Association (must be maintained) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) from the American Heart Association (must be maintained)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart
Association (to be obtained within 6 months of hire) NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) completion within 6 months of hire Certified
Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) encouraged and to be completed within 1
year of hire Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) to be completed within
2 years of hire Education Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Knowledge & Skills Perioperative nursing principles and
perioperative patient care Operating Room circulating and
familiarity with scrub/sterile technique Comfort across
specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, Ophthalmology, Dental and
General Surgery Strong assessment, critical thinking and
documentation skills Ability to function well under pressure and
rapidly changing situations (on-call readiness) Teamwork,
communication with multidisciplinary teams and patient-centered
care Familiarity with NIHSS and trauma-focused care practices
