Job Description Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician Are you an experienced electrophysiologist ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic hospital environment? We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Physician to provide expert care in cardiac electrophysiology, specializing in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disturbances. In this role, you will perform complex EP procedures, including ablations and TEEs, utilizing Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system. You will support hospital consults and electrophysiology cases, working independently with moderate sedation and ensuring high-quality patient care. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of adult patients with arrhythmias. Required Skills: Proven experience performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures, specifically ablations, with documentation of at least 100 EP cases in the past two years, emphasizing ablations. Proficiency in using Abbott Ensite-X mapping technology. Ability to perform TEEs and moderate sedation independently. Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in cardiology or electrophysiology. Arizona medical license (or eligible to obtain) and AZ DEA registration. Current ACLS certification. Comfortable working in hospital and outpatient clinical settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Cerner EMR system. Familiarity with additional EP equipment or technologies. Previous work in high-volume electrophysiology programs. Experience with moderate sedation protocols. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. At least 1 year of clinical electrophysiology experience, with recent case logs demonstrating proficiency in ablations. Other Requirements: Willingness to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including support during hospital consults and procedures. Commitment to adhering to all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital policies. Ability to support coverage needs as scheduled, including potential overtime and holiday shifts with premium pay.
