Join our supportive OB team in the White Mountains for hands-on perinatal and postpartum nursing./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Show Low, AZ 85901 — White Mountains, Arizona travel nurse opportunity/n - Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit (7 L&D beds, 2 triage beds, 10 postpartum beds)/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)/n - Shifts: 12-hour days (6a–6p); 36 hours/week guaranteed/n - Weekend Requirement: Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule/n - Call: One shift per 4-week schedule/n - Patient Volume: Approximately 1–3 births per day/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250–$2370/week/n /n/nQualifications & Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 3 years preferred/n - Active RN license (State required; compact license considered where applicable) — Arizona nursing jobs candidates welcome/n - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation), Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN), NIHSS/n - Strong skills in fetal monitoring, interpretation, and response to fetal distress/n - Experience with C-sections, high-risk OB patients (e.g., pre-eclampsia), and OB emergency management/n - Excellent assessment skills and ability to manage OB emergencies independently until provider arrival/n - Willingness to float to other units (ED, Med/Surg) as needed/n /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care: triage, continuous fetal monitoring, assessment, and timely intervention/n - Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections; provide postpartum and couplet care for patient and newborn/n - Utilize advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN standards) and act on signs of fetal distress/n - Manage high-risk OB patients and stabilize emergencies until physician or advanced provider arrives/n - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including OB providers, respiratory therapists, OR/OB scrub techs, and patient care technicians/n - Accurate documentation using Allscripts EHR/charting system/n - Support staffing needs by floating to other hospital units when required/n /n/n /n Why join us: This travel nursing L&D role offers hands-on perinatal experience, a collaborative OB team, and the opportunity to live in scenic Show Low, AZ.
