This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential nursing care in a school setting, focusing on a Pre-K student with specific medical needs. Key Responsibilities: Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning duties with precision and attention to safety. Monitor and address the health needs of a Pre-K student, ensuring a supportive and safe school environment. Collaborate with school staff and families to promote overall student well-being. Maintain accurate health records and document all nursing interventions. Provide health education and emergency care as needed within the school environment. Qualifications and Experience: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience in school nursing or pediatric care, preferably with young children. Proficiency in trach care and suctioning procedures. Ability to work effectively within a school team and communicate clearly with students, staff, and families. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Schedule and Location: Position based in Prescott Valley, AZ. Contract role with a schedule of Monday through Friday mornings. Wednesdays off, with total hours approximately 12-14 per week.
