Telemetry Tech Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,175 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position Job Title: Virtual Monitor Tech - Telemetry Profession: Tech Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience is required. 3 years of experience is preferred. License: License to submit required Certifications: BLS Certification required. Advanced Dysrhythmia certification required prior to hiring. Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation is required. Ability to recognize cardiac rhythms and effectively communicate changes to registered nursing staff. Availability for 2-3 day shifts for orientation, holidays, and weekends is required. Description: This complex position is responsible for performing remote surveillance of cardio-pulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station. The role entails recognizing, recording, and reporting potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias. Work is primarily performed in a centralized monitoring unit under the direction of a registered nurse. Each technician can potentially monitor up to 60 patients due to advanced technology capabilities. The incumbent is expected to accurately recognize cardiac rhythms and follow established protocols. Communication with local nursing staff about changes in rhythms and arrhythmias is essential. Technicians must follow proper communication channels in both routine and emergency situations. There is a need to strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics. The position includes a requirement to work weekends, with a total of 4 weekend shifts during a schedule. Holiday shifts are also required. Opportunity exists to cross-train to other roles within the unit. Business casual attire is expected. Mandatory in-person orientation will be conducted prior to the go-live date. The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
