Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Print Production Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining the Marketing & Media department’s production center. This position ensures all print requests submitted through PaperCut are completed accurately and on time. The Specialist manages paper inventory, coordinates equipment service needs with IT and vendor support, and maintains a working knowledge of substrates and finishing processes to ensure the highest quality output. This position is a working position. PPS will possess a genuine interest in and concern for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position and is necessary for the efficient operation of the business. Operate and maintain production equipment. Review and process all print requests submitted via PaperCut. Ensure quality control standards are met for all print and finishing jobs Troubleshoot common equipment issues and submit IT tickets for vendor repair or advanced support when necessary. Manage paper inventory; order paper stock as needed to maintain sufficient levels. Coordinate with supervisor for procurement of additional supplies and materials. Work collaboratively with Marketing & Media and Information Services team members to support campus-wide communication and branding initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production room environment. Other duties as assigned.
