service providers. Position Title: Internal Auditor
Department/Program: Quality Management Reports To: Chief Quality
Officer Position Summary (Purpose and Scope) The Internal Auditor
will work under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer to
ensure Polara Health provides high quality integrated care services
in a professional manner which aligns with all federal, state and
local regulatory guidelines. The Internal Auditor plays a role in
meeting annual quality management improvement plan goals. The
Internal Auditor will act as a source of validity, legality and
goal achievement with direct care staff as needed. Qualifications
(Education, Credentials, Experience and Age- and/or
Disability-Specific Populations) Minimum of Associate's degree
(Bachelor's degree preferred), or 2 years of professional
experience. Proficient with data management, analysis and
utilization of MS Office Excel. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal
and written. Strong people skills to engage staff as department
liaison. Ability to navigate electronic medical record and other
databases. Self-starter who is motivated, energetic, and
enthusiastic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Displaying
adherence to organization's mission. Assisting with the execution
of quality management department's continuous improvement plans.
Collaborating with supervisors as department liaison for training
and improved communication. Maintain records to track audits and
other data as assigned. Perform audits or pull reports for data
analysis and improvement planning. Perform comprehensive research
or collaborate with staff to complete the projects given. Ability
to take direction and execute assigned duties independently. Assist
in process improvement brainstorming. Participate in all committee
meetings as assigned. Preform other duties as assigned. This
position is considered Safety-Sensitive by Polara health.
