ones and other integrated service providers. GENERAL SUMMARY: To
maintain the buildings, grounds and company vehicles to assure a
safe and clean environment for clients, employees and the general
public.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide for the
maintenance and repair of Clinic buildings, facilities, vehicles,
grounds, equipment, furniture, etc... 2. Cover after-hours
Facilities Department call on a rotating schedule (24/7/365) 3.
Complete and maintain records pertaining to maintenance and safety
procedures or equipment which may be reviewed by various licensing
or accrediting organizations. 4. Complete and record fire drills in
accordance with scripted standards. 5. Interact with the numerous
outside vendors who are engaged to complete projects and work which
are beyond the scope of the Facilities Department.6. Assist with
janitorial services as needed. 7. Assist the Director of
Facilities/Safety Officer with various projects and drills. 8.
Interact with Staff, clients, and the general public in regards to
safety and facilities concerns. 9. Performs other duties as
assigned. BACKGROUND: A. Supervision - Not Applicable B.
Confidentiality - Position requires no access to clients' files,
however, client contact is frequent and client confidentiality is
very important. C. Mental Application - Must have a working
knowledge of various trades to include plumbing, electrical, HVAC,
general construction, and fire safety systems. Good communication
skills and the ability to work well with others.D. Responsibility -
Errors in the maintenance of various systems could result in
significant injury, death, expenses, loss of goodwill, and the
potential loss of licensure. E. Contacts/Internal and Public -
Requires a good working relationship with others and contact with
the general public. Must be able to interact with client population
while performing maintenance duties. CONDITIONS AND EQUIPMENT: A.
Working Conditions: Work may be completed inside or outside and,
therefore, may be subject to the conditions of the season. B.
Equipment Operation: Mastery of basic hand tools both manual and
power operated. Must hold an AZ Driver's License and be capable of
operating Clinic-owned vehicles. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:High
School Diploma or GED2 years in a maintenance fieldThis position is
considered Safety-Sensitive by Polara health. EOE/Non-smoking
facility. Pre-employment drug screening/background check required.
