Location: Phoenix, Arizona (On-site) Hours: M-F: 8AM – 5PM; 1 hour lunch Essential Job Functions Assist Sales Associates with order entry and paperwork Greets and directs visitors at the front desk and maintains the visitor log Answers, screens, and forwards incoming calls to appropriate person Collect payment by cash, check, or credit card and generate receipts for will call customers Scan documents Communicate with the Chopstick company regarding to price update, problem solution, logo design, etc. for chopstick logo. Modify quantity for fresh fish orders in the system Communicate with vendors regarding price updates Create promotional flyers to promote Company products Calculate costs and product pricing to determine profit margin Assist with other sales related duties Other duties as required by department manager Physical Requirements Ability to sit in an office setting for an extended period of time Ability to type and use a computer for extended periods throughout the day Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Working Conditions o Noise Level: Normal to loud while in the office Other Requirements Business level English required – Read/write/speak/listen Business level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required High School Diploma or equivalent required The ability to communicate effectively Maintain a positive attitude Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload 1 years of experience in an administrative or clerical position preferred 1 years of relevant experience or food industry experience preferred Knowledge and Skills Intermediate mathematical knowledge – profit margin calculations, markups, discounts, combining/converting measurements, counting inventory, etc. Problem-solving skills Communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organization and time management skills Knowledge of Japanese food and sake preferred
