Pay Information $1,513 per week About The Position Job Title: RN/LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 91 days Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: New graduates accepted License: RN or LPN licensure required Certifications: CPR certification preferred Must-Have: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and commitment to quality patient care Description: Administer medication and treatment in a safe and timely manner in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures. Administer treatments and documentation in a safe and timely manner in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures. Document and communicate residents' care and condition both written and verbal to the interdisciplinary team and other healthcare settings to ensure continuity of care while adhering to regulations. Perform assessments and prepare incident reports, infection control reports, and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement projects to enhance care as requested. Supervise nursing assistants assigned during the shift of care to ensure quality care and adherence to policies and procedures is provided. Resolve interpersonal conflicts, work procedure issues, and answer questions regarding care. Assist in the training and reinforcement of care needed during a shift of care. Function as an advocate for residents in the delivery of quality care, with regard for residents' rights, wishes, and directives. Present a professional demeanor and interact with residents, co-workers, residents' families, visitors, volunteers, and vendors while maintaining confidentiality of protected health information. Perform assessment and document findings to the physician as indicated. Initiate, review, and update resident care plans. Document care provided in medical records.
